President Bush’s Finest Moment

NOTE: The photo has been retouched, but the actual information seems to be accurate.
Recently a German reporter asked George W. Bush what he considered his finest moment as president of the United States.
“You know, I’ve experienced many great moments and it’s hard to name the best,” Bush told weekly Bild am Sonntag when asked about his high point since becoming president in January 2001.
“I would say the best moment of all was when I caught a 7.5 pound perch in my lake,” he told the newspaper in an interview published on Sunday.

UPDATE:
At other webpages, one can consider the “greatest moments” of other presidents:
- Richard Nixon- standing at the Great Wall of China
- Jimmy Carter- the Camp David MidEast negotiations
- Ronald Reagan- demanding that the Soviet Union “tear down the Berlin Wall“
- Bill Clinton- the resolution of the Kosovo crisis.
Compare that with Bush’s finest moment as president- catching a big fish….
AND IF THAT WEREN’T ENOUGH….
It appears that Bush can’t even get his facts straight about the damned fish. The world’s record for the largest freshwater perch caught is 4 pounds 3 ounces.

Given all of the things that have happened in the last too God damn many years with this President, I’d say catching a big perch has to be the highlight.
