There’s been some claims, repeated by many, that the military surge in Iraq is bringing stability to Iraq. Iraqi journalist Ghaith Abdul-Ahad traveled through Baghdad, and provided an inside view of what things are really like. There’s 20 miles of 12 foot walls separating the Sunni and Shia populations, with a lot of neglect of basic utilities, making the city more divided and desperate than ever. See for yourself.
