From what I’ve read, Democratic House Leader Nancy Pelosi is working very hard to defeat HR 1606, a bill designed to protect poltical blogs. Here’s what I wrote to her:

I cannot believe you would propose regulation of political blogs. With all the mass consolidation of media corporations, the internet is the last place where can truly experience “freedom of the press.”

This is the type of garbage I would expect from a Republican that wants to make it easier for a Pravada-Fox News empire to become the prominent news source for American citizens.

If anything, you should be proposing the return of “equal time” regulations that were destroyed under the Reagan administration.

I am very disapointed by your actions.
